Preparation Steps

  1. Prep the Fish:
    Pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the Fish:
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add fish fillets and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden. Remove and set aside.

    In the same pan, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Sprinkle in the flour and whisk for 1 minute to form a roux.
  4. Simmer the Cream Sauce:

  5. Combine and Finish:
    Return fish fillets to the pan. Spoon sauce over them and simmer for another 3–4 minutes until the fish is cooked through. Garnish with fresh parsley.
