Ingredients
  

  • 2 pcs Large eggs
  • ½ cup Milk whole or any preferred type
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 4 slices Thick white bread or brioche
  • 1 tbsp Butter for frying
  • as needed — Maple syrup and fresh berries for serving

Equipment

  • 1 Frying Pan or Skillet
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Spatula

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
    Heat a nonstick frying pan over medium heat and add butter.
    Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides evenly.
    Place the coated bread on the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
    Remove and serve immediately with maple syrup, butter, and berries.

Notes

Tips / Variations:
  • Substitute milk with oat milk or almond milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Add a dash of nutmeg or orange zest for extra flavor.
  • Try topping with caramelized bananas or whipped cream for a café-style brunch.
