Ingredients List

Optional: grated parmesan or chili flakes for garnish

500g baby potatoes (halved if large)

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon dried herbs (parsley, rosemary, or thyme)

Preparation Steps

  1. Boil the Potatoes
    Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook for 8–10 minutes until fork-tender. Drain well.
  2. Sauté with Garlic
    In a skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add Potatoes
    Toss in the cooked potatoes. Pan-fry for 5–7 minutes until golden and crisp on the edges.
  4. Season and Serve
    Sprinkle salt, pepper, and herbs. Toss well to coat evenly. Garnish with parsley or parmesan before serving.
